Copenhagen Games 2015

Copenhagen Games have become kind of a tradition for Menace in recent years. We have usually attended with Counter-Strike and StarCraft 2 teams and this time we are sending the same set again. Our CS:GO team will try their luck (and skill!) in open qualifier tournament where 16 teams will move forward to the main tournament. The tournament has some great teams attending but TOP3 has chosen to skip the tournament. 42 teams fight for the place in the main tournament starting with two group stages. Luck was smiling for us this time, we got placed in a group with only one other team. So seeds for the second group stage are determined in a math between us and Norwegian team Lions. However the match ends we are through to group stage two.

Call of Duty Championship 2015

This weekend Menace conquers a new continent when our new Call of Duty team travels to USA to play in Call of Duty Championship 2015. They will compete against 31 of the best teams in the world to win part of the whopping one million dollars prize purce! 32 teams play in 8 groups of 4 and two teams in each group advance to double-elimination playoffs.

Assembly Summer 2014

Assembly Summer 2014 is just behind the corner. The tournament will be held 31.7.-3.8.2014 in Messukeskus, Helsinki.

The best Finnish StarCraft 2 players have been invited to battle over a spot to represent Finland in the IeSF 2014 World Championship in Baku, Azerbaijan on the 12-17th of November 2014. The qualification tournament in Helsinki has 16 spots, where eight players were invited and eight players could win their place in the tournament by earning their qualification in online tournaments. There are still two places free in the Assembly tournament that will be decided by the BYOC tournament. All ASM14 StarCraft 2 news will be gathered here:

DreamHack Bucharest 2014

Copenhagen Games has just ended but there is no time to rest for our StarCraft 2 player Wenlei "ZhuGeLiang" Dai because this weekend it's time for DreamHack Bucharest. ZhuGeLiang played well in Denmark, even beating Team Liquid's Snute. His final placing was 9-12th after losing to Happy and Spacemarine in group stage two. We were satisfied with his result but the man himself was much more critical, you can read his thoughts on this interview we did with him after the tournament:

Copenhagen Games 2014

This years Copenhagen Games starts this weekend! Menace is represented by our Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team and Wenlei "ZhuGeLiang" Dai from our StarCraft 2 squad. The CS:GO tournament has every major team in the scene attending and we have the most recent champion in our group. EMS One champ  Virtus.Pro is in our group so we are facing the toughest challenge possible in the very first group stage. Other teams are in our group are danish FIXNATION and norwegian so we have good change going through even if we lose to the champs.

This years StarCraft 2 tournament at CPH is mid level but still ZhuGeLiang has one of the best non Koreans in his group. Liquid Snute is really going to test ZhuGe's ZvZ skills this weekend. Other players in his group are swedish dsbloop and danish Storm. We asked ZhuGe few questions about the tournament:
